Description :
Medium to large tree, 12-20 metres tall with canopy size of 4-6 metres, short deciduous, narrow canopy, tall and
relatively dense. The base of the tree is supported by its small buttress root. The bark is light grey, scaly, and
slightly transparent, with holes for airflow located throughout the trunk and leaves.
It is comprised of feathers-like leaves that are thin but rather sticky, dark green with short hairs, and topped with
white-pink flowers with a light aroma.

Habitat and distribution :
Found in mixed deciduous forest or rain forest of Southern Thailand.

Ethnobotanical Uses :
The hard wood is suitable for making firewood, boards, tool handles and utensils.

ประกอบแบบขนนกแผน่ ใบบางแต่คอ่ นข้างเหนยี ว สีเขียวเขม้ มขี นส้ันๆ ดอกสีขาวอมชมพูมกี ล่นิ หอมออ่ นๆ

การกระจายพันธุ์ :
พบตามป่าเบญจพรรณ ป่าดิบช้ืนและภาคใต้ตอนบน

ประโยชน์ :
เน้อื ไมค้ อ่ นขา้ งแขง็ เหมาะใขท้ าํ ฟืน ฝากระดาน ด้ามเคร่ืองมือเคร่ืองใช้ต่างๆ
