WOMEN IN PRIVATE DEBT

LONDON 2019

Welcome to the 2nd Annual LPGP Connect Women in Private Debt London
conference.

Recent developments in the finance industry and elsewhere have propelled
organizations to re-consider their position on gender quotas and diversity. As such,
LPGP Connect is stepping up its efforts in promoting diversity and equality by hosting
the Number 1 Women in Private Debt forum.

LPGP Connect has produced this event to bring together senior women and men in
the private debt asset class to offer their expertise on various topics, including
investors’ profile, fundraising outlook, fund terms, innovations and strategies, fund
structure and capital allocation, diversity in the asset class, ESG in direct lending,
comparative study on the asset class between US, Europe and Asia, distressed and
global special sits and finally an interactive presentation.

We hope this event will highlight the importance of diversity and inclusion, and to give
everyone the opportunity to offer their perspectives. So please make use of the
networking lunch and breaks throughout the day, followed by a drinks’ reception at the
end. The LPGP Connect team is on site should you require any assistance.

We would like to give a very special thank you to the sponsors and event partners
who helped make this conference possible, the advisory committee who helped with
the content of this agenda and to our delegates and speakers for interesting and
insightful discussions. We look forward to bringing you a successful event.

About Deerpath Capital

Deerpath approaches each investment as an opportunity to establish long term

leverage our extensive investment experience to offer flexible financing solutions to fit the
needs of each company with competitive terms and structures.
Deerpath has invested approximately $3.0 billion since it was founded in 2007 in over
350 transactions. Deerpath has focused almost exclusively on first lien, senior secured
loans to companies in the underserved U.S. lower middle market. Reduced competition
and lower leverage multiples compared to the traditional middle market have allowed
Deerpath to consistently source attractive opportunities.
The firm has sourcing professionals spread across the US in 5 origination offices to allow for
complete geographical coverage of the lower middle market. Since inception, Deerpath has
incurred only 1 partially realized loss, which is well offset by equity co-investment gains.
This is a testament to the firm’s strict underwriting standards, monitoring and restructuring
capabilities, and focus on downside protection.
