Walk-In-Interview

Eligible candidates may appear in Walk-In-Interview on 15th February 2016 (Monday) for the
post of One Senior Research Fellow, Two Computer Assistants and One Skilled Worker under
ICAR-Extramural Research project titled ‘Forecasting Human Capital Requirements for Indian
Fisheries Sector (Demand-Supply Analysis of Fisheries Human Capital in India). Other Details are
given as below:

Skilled Rs. 10,000/-
Worker per month Desirable: Conversant with statistical tools and software
(One consolidated packages like Excel, SPSS, SAS, etc.; Very good communication
position) pay skills including demonstrated command of English language and
report writing skills; Willingness to travel all over India for field
work; Any computer related skill certificate will be an added
advantage
Essential: 10th Pass; Experience in audio-visual (a-v)
documentation and use of a-v aids; conversant with image
processing software like CorelDraw, Adobe Photoshop, Pinnacle,
etc.
Desirable: Fluency (including typing ability) in Hindi. Working
knowledge of English and MS Office. Willingness to travel all over
India for field work.

Terms and Conditions:

1. Maximum age limit is 35 years (age relaxation of five years for SC/ST & women and three
years for OBC)

2. The positions are purely temporary and can be terminated on one month’s notice /
termination of the project i.e. March 2017. The selected candidates shall not claim for
regular appointments at this institute as the positions are purely temporary, time bound and
co-terminus with the project

3. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview
4. Candidates are requested to bring duly filled bio data in the prescribed format at the time of

interview (format enclosed) along with the original certificates and attested photocopies of
all requisite certificates
5. Only the candidates having essential qualifications and in possession of necessary
documents would be entertained for the interview.
6. Canvassing in any form will disqualify the candidate.
7. Candidates reaching after specified timing will not be entertained.
8. If eligible, candidates can apply for both the SRF and Computer Assistant positions.
9. If necessary, a written test (covering competency in English language, reasoning ability and
basic social science) may also be conducted to shortlist the candidates for interview on the
same.
