62 Interactive flipbook vs Normal Flipbook The difference between an interactive flipbook and a normal flipbook lies in the level of engagement and interactivity they offer to the reader. While both types of flipbooks share the characteristic of having pages that can be flipped, interactive flipbooks take it a step further by incorporating digital features and interactive elements. Interactive flipbooks typically include multimedia elements such as embedded videos, audio clips, animations, and interactive links. They may also offer interactive navigation features like clickable table of contents, hyperlinked pages, and interactive hotspots. These elements enhance the reader's experience by providing additional information, engaging visual content, and opportunities for interaction. On the other hand, normal flipbooks are typically physical or printed publications where the pages can be physically flipped. They rely solely on the printed content and illustrations to convey information and tell a story. Normal flipbooks do not incorporate digital enhancements or interactive features. The key distinction is that interactive flipbooks leverage digital technology to create a more dynamic and engaging reading experience, whereas normal flipbooks are limited to the traditional physical format.
