with Bowmalloy® cap screws. Eliminates “stripping-out” caused by inferior
grade nuts.
• Unichrome™ plating provides corrosion resistance that is superior to
commercial zinc plating.
• ASME Class UN-2B thread fit assures fully formed, precision-fitting threads that
provide complete and continuous clamping force.

• Through-hardened carbon steel structure distributes the load produced by high-
strength bolts over a larger surface area. Eliminates the danger of a bolt embedding
(dishing-out) into soft materials, the primary cause of premature fastener failure.
• Available with zinc clear or zinc yellow plating provides outstanding
corrosion resistance.
• Stamped with the Barnes Group logo and size for easy identification
• Uniform thickness and smooth, burr-free surface insure proper seating for
maximum clamping force and precise torque factors.
