Led by faculty who are actively engaged
in design thinking and practice, Visual
Communication Design students are
challenged to think critically about what
they create, take risks in their work, and
experience the value and transformative
ability of design.

Renowned Visual Communication
Design faculty represent the diversity of
contemporary design practice, research,
and pedagogy with thriving practices both
self-initiated and client-associated, physical
and virtual, and individual and collaborative.
Students are presented with a rich array
of tools and ideas and work with faculty to
broaden and deepen their understanding of
the field, acquire new skills and approaches,
and develop an innovative and mature body
of work. Faculty guide students in self-initi-
ated work that explores issues of personal
interest and cultural/social significance.

CONCEPT

Revolution aims to create a disruption of the
everyday standerds, to transform the existing
order to build something greater. Graphic
design has alwyas played an important role
in all of these reolutions, creating an addi-
tional language that extrends the movment
by making visual work that confronts ideas,
conceptions and sociatal norms. Students in
the Visula Communication Design progeam
learn how to use the combination of objects,
concepts, visuals and design principles
to take a part in the responisiblity of
questioning the world around us and how
it can change for the better

By using a JavaScript based progrma, I was
able to creates disruption in images of our
daily experiences. This raw glitch asthetic is
used represent revolotuion and complication
of our norms.
