PADANG POLO:
● Padang Polo is one the main attractions in the district of Pekan.
● It is located approximately 50km from Kuantan the capital city of Pahang.
● It has a couple of villages located near there, but the most well known one is
Kampung Padang Polo.
● Padang Polo is an important place since it holds the history of Pahang .
● The castle that is built in Padang Polo were used by the Royal Families of
Pahang since 1960 and were once the central government of Pahang

district, since the area, holds a lot of history related to
the evolution of Pekan. The main landmark of Padang
Polo that is the Royal castle. The castle was built in
1960 and were named after the previous Sultan
Almarhum Sultan Abu Bakar Riayatuddin al-muadzam
Shah ibni Al-marhum Sultan Abdullah Al-Mutasim
Billah, the fourth Sultan of Pahang
