DEDAH NUKLEAR, SAINS DAN TEKNOLOGI

MENERUSI SIRI SEMBANG SANTAI SAINTIS (3’S)

Haizum Ruzana Sahar

Nuklear Malaysia meneruskan legasi program
jangkau luar mereka bersama SM Sains Pasir
Puteh, Kelantan. Program Sembang Santai
Saintis (3’S) dalam bentuk webinar ini bertujuan
untuk memupuk minat dalam sains serta
melengkapkan guru dan pelajar dengan
pengetahuan yang tepat mengenai teknologi
nuklear. Program ini berjaya menarik seramai
97 orang peserta untuk turut serta dalam
persekitaran pembelajaran secara maya ini.
Saintis Nuklear Malaysia, Suzilawati Muhd
Sarowi telah menyampaikan ceramah selama
satu jam yang bertajuk “Sinaran Mengion
& Aplikasi Teknologi Nuklear di Malaysia”.
Menerusi sesi perkongsian ilmu tersebut, beliau
telah berkongsi mengenai sejarah penemuan
sinara, keradioaktifan, sinaran mengion dan
sinaran tidak mengion, perlindungan sinaran,
aplikasi teknologi nuklear, pembangunan dan
penyelidikan (R&D) serta penguatkuasaan

6

mengenai teknologi nuklear.

sempena ulang tahun ke 39

Oleh: Pusat Teknologi Reaktor

Pada tanggal 28 Jun 2021, buat julung kalinya
Pusat Teknologi Reaktor menganjurkan
Kolokium Reaktor TRIGA PUSPATI (RTP) bagi
meraikan ulang tahun ke 39 penubuhannya.
28 Jun 1982, itulah tarikh detik permulaan era
nuklear, penggunaan sumber neutron dalam
teknologi nuklear di Malaysia melalui Reaktor
TRIGA PUSPATI atau RTP.

Hampir empat dekad RTP dikendalikan,
keselamatan, sekuriti dan kawalgunaan (3S)
telah dijaga begitu rapi bagi memastikan
reaktor ini berada dalam keadaan keselamatan
yang paling optimum dan terbaik. Sejak
ia dikendalikan, tidak ada satu pun insiden
yang buruk berlaku, malah pihak Pusat
Teknologi Reaktor amat komited memastikan
pengoperasian RTP terus selamat dan
kesinambungannya dalam memberi khidmat
penyinaran sumber neutron kepada pengguna
dan juga mengekalkan amalan pengurusan
terbaik bagi memastikan keselamatan pekerja,
orang awam dan persekitaran tidak terancam
dan sentiasa berasa selamat.

Pada perancangan awal, kolokium ini dilakukan
secara fizikal, sebaliknya, ia dilakukan secara
atas talian sepenuhnya bagi mengekang
penularan pandemik COVID-19 yang semakin
berleluasa sejak mutakhir ini. Namun,
kolokium ini tetap meriah dengan kehadiran
peserta yang amat menggalakkan dan
tidak berganjak sehingga program berakhir.
Kolokium selama dua hari ini mengetengahkan
pelbagai topik dari aspek pengoperasian dan

8

penyenggaraan sistem-sistem RTP, aplikasi sumber 9
neutron yang dijanakan oleh RTP, keselamatan dan
sekuriti serta teknologi reaktor di masa hadapan.
Seramai tiga orang pembentang jemputan telah
berkongsi pengalaman dan kepakaran mereka
yang sangat berharga bagi generasi masa kini.
Tidak puas rasanya mendengar perkongsian dari
mereka ini disebabkan kekangan masa.

Selain itu, seramai 32 pembentang daripada
empat kluster telah berkongsi ilmu dan maklumat
daripada aspek pengoperasian, penggunaan
sumber neutron, keselamatan dan teknologi reaktor
masa depan. Sesungguhnya pengurusan sesebuah
reaktor penyelidikan nuklear bukanlah sesuatu yang
mudah, ia memerlukan cabang bidang kejuruteraan

datang. Pusat Teknologi Reaktor turut berbangga
dengan semangat serta sokongan yang ditunjukkan
terhadap satu-satunya reaktor penyelidikan yang
ada di Malaysia pada hari ini. Tidak mustahil
kolokium seperti ini akan mencetuskan pelbagai
idea-idea baru yang boleh menyokong dalam
agenda pembangunan negara.

behavioral intention toward acceptance of pynea glove among pineapple smallholders. The findings of this study indicate that attitude, subjective norms and perceived
behavioral control have significant positive influences on the factors toward acceptance of pynea glove. Furthermore, the results showed that perceived behavioral control is
the dominant factor in achieving the objectives of this study. Therefore, the overall findings can be concluded that pineapple smallholders have a positive intention to use
innovation products and are willing to accept pynea glove as their new tools for protection.
