Upon successful completion of IET-407 (With a grade C or higher) students should be able to infuse hydraulic symbols with electrical diagrams to complement the drawings. 2. Upon successful completion of IET-407 (With a grade C or higher) students should be able to apply the electrical symbols to schematic drawings. 3. Upon successful completion of IET-407 (With a grade C or higher) students should be able to be familiar with the interpretation of one line diagrams and electrical symbols pertaining to industrial controls. Attendance: (This course is fully in person. Attendance is mandatory. it is your responsibility to manage your time wisely to meet the due dates for all the assigned work. Students are expected to attend every class session. For section 33303, missing any day is not acceptable and you maybe drop. For the 33303 section, I am required to submit a positive attendance for each student and you are required to attend each class meeting. Missing work/Exam policy:
If you missed to submit your work before the deadline, your grade may be reduced by 20% up to 50% for late work. That depends on how many days you are late. If you missed the exam, midterm or final, there will be no make-up exam unless within conditions that you have no control over and you have to provide a proof. In this situation, the make up the exam, it should be demonstrated on the day or on your return not after. Workbook Assignments from the textbook: There will be total 12 chapter to cover. 9 regular chapters and two for extra credit, and we will skip the others. Therefore, you have to make sure that you have enough time for one chapter per week as a minimum.
