when a car overshot a parking space - without
a safety bollard - and crashed into a cafe.

federal funding they’re receiving in an appropri-
ate manner, however, I have expressed a prefer-
ence for safety devices, such as bollards, at our

Both the federal and state governments have
responded to the economic crisis caused by the
pandemic by encouraging councils to spend
money on infrastructure works, especially

more than this $2.45 million in federal funding,
designed to support them as they support us
through this pandemic,” he said.

Ryde Council passed an Urgency Motion last
week, moved by Cr Jordan Lane, which requires

Clr Lane said.

ering in the same space.

 “Playground users are also reminded to practice good
personal hygiene, including washing hands and using
hand sanitiser and/or disinfectant wipes before and after
