ANZAC Day Services
Are Back Again – BUT!

Where are the marches? And Why Not!

ANZAC DAY Services are back again this year after being forbidden
by bureaucratic governments last year but still under stupid autocrat-
ic rules and regulations.

Most marches have been ruled out apart from the City march which has been
limited in numbers and veterans must register to march! How damnright crazy.
And the State RSL must accept some of the blame for not tackling the govern-
ment more energetically.

However, now some of the restrictions have been eased local RSL Sub-Branches are organising com- Marches have always been a feature at local Anzac Services such as

JB’S COMMENTS AT FUNERAL SERVICE
The Weekly Times editor and longtime friend John Francis Booth AM was invited by
George Stone’s family to read their eulogy at last Thursday’s funeral service. Prior to read-
ing the Eulogy JB commented:

It’s been my privilege and honour to be asked by the family to read their eulogy today.
I have known George since schooldays at Sydney Tech High when we both started there at Pad-
dington in 1944 – 77 years ago!
And I have witnessed George change from a republican Labor man to a Monarchist devotee.
But here is one thing that has never changed: George gas been a Balmain Tiger from day One and
has never changed and now will be reunited with his beloved Jean a Tiger to the end … and always
will be.

Balmain Tigers Legend All out to Leichhardt
George Stone farewelled Oval HQ this Sunday

By the one eyed Tiger

Easter Monday Festival outing at Olym-
