Kids being ‘booked’ by the Police

Sheriff’s  department  was  supporting  the  use  of  the  Moonshot  Moment
bookmobile  on  November  14,  to  deliver  free  books  to  families  throughout
IRC.  In  so  doing,  the  IRC  Sheriff’s  office,  in  conjunction  with  other  local  law
enforcement  agencies  (Fellsmere  Police  Department,  Sebastian  Police
Department,  Vero  Beach  Police  Department)  was  supporting  the  Learning
Alliance’s  third  annual  Moonshot  Moment  Day  of  Service  on  November  14th,

Sea Turtle RE Kicks Off Holiday Season

Bobbie Holt was at the Gala Preview Party at Riverside Theatre’s Festival
of Trees to kick off the holiday season. “It was a true pleasure to donate a tree
to  the  Theatre  this  year,”  said  Holt.  “We  are  just  around  the  corner  from  the
Theatre  and  love  being  a  neighbor  of  one  of  Vero’s  cultural  jewels.  I  enjoy  all
the events the Theatre brings to our community, but the Festival of Trees is one
of  my  favorites  as  it  benefits  the  Children’s  Theatre  in  particular.  We’re  thrilled
the  successful  bid  for  our  tree  was  $1,000.00  and  will  be  making  someone
happy in its new home.” A long­time supporter of cultural arts in the area, Holt
and  Sea  Turtle  agent  Holly  Gorman  created  a  coastal  inspired  tree  for  this
