What is consumer intent marketing? Intent marketing is displaying ads marketing a product or a service based on consumers' intent to adopt, purchase or consume that particular service which may have been either explicitly or implicitly conveyed by the users actions.

Simply put, imagine if you could serve and ad to anyone who visited your competitors website, a specific webpage, video. Consumer intent marketing allows you to do exactly that.

If you want to sell a new paint brush, you can build an audience from the viewers of HomeDepot.com paintbrush pages, you know they are either researching or intend to buy a paint brush and therefore will be interested in your product. This targeting is far better than traditional demographic or interest based audience targeting.
