Celex T7 Nexa T7 Nexa+T7The Bilbo’s StoryThe company was named after Bilbo Baggins a small and seemingly insignificant character who travelled across worlds in the famous book ‘The Hobbit’.Bilbo’s began production in the Netherlands before moving to the UK where we currently employ 24 staff. We now have large production facilities including a carpentry and upholstery department, along with a fitting workshop and spray oven where we colour code the roofs.We’ve still got the same simple passion for touring that we started out with 48 years ago.We design for true explorers, the adventurers who still want to see what’s out there.All built on the Volkswagen T7 Transporter, which can be customised with a range of options to suit your budget and lifestyle.3

5NCC ApprovalThe NCC Product Approval Scheme imposes a strict inspection regime onhabitation safety requirements to provide consumer protection. Every conversion that has been approved is licensed to carry an NCC Approved Badge and a certificate is also issuedto the consumer detailing the specification of the model that was inspected and approved.Inspections are conducted on-site at the manufacturers premises and depending upon specification, there may be 500 – 600 individual points checked on any one unit. The inspection process is complemented by unannounced surveillance checks at the factoryto ensure that the products continue to comply with the relevant criteria. As such, the NCC badge provides a reliable benchmark by which product reliability can be measured.Bilbo’s have been awarded this status. It comes with a Bilbo’s award-winning low-lie elevating roof, allowing the vehicle to pass under most height restrictions. The result being, a campervan that is designed for many uses.
11The Nexa+ is ideal for those wanting to downsize from a larger motorhome or caravan but do not want to lose some of the facilities they’re used to.This conversion allows two people to sleep comfortably in single beds, utilising the front and rear seats which link together to create the sleeping area, this leaves space in between allowing for easy access to the kitchenor toilet area when needed. Bilbo’s Easylift Low-Lie elevating roof - StandardBilbo’s manufacture its own unique side elevating roof which is fitted as standard across the range, maximising standing height along the length of the vehicle. The roofs construction includes an insulated fibreglass top with a weather proof heavy duty durable vinyl awning section, complete with twin zipped midge proof screens front and rear, and large side windows with roll-up blinds. Roof bed optional.Continental elevating roof - OptionalThis front lifting roof has the added advantage of accommodating a wider fitted roof bed, suitable for both children and adults.
