Heads of Year
Firstly can I start by saying what a fabulous bunch of
young adults you have all matured into. I will look back
on the past 5 years with you fondly and proudly, with
many happy memories. I have done my best to teach you
right from wrong and hope that you have all learnt many
lessons along the way and will become stronger and
more resilient as a result.
I cannot believe that our time together was brought to
such an abrupt end and as much as this has been tough
on you, believe me it felt just as strange for me. I had
many plans for our remaining time together and it is a
shame that we were unable to fulfil all of these. There
was a huge mix of emotions of the last day and I will
admit that I shed a tear or two as you all departed. I feel
sad that we were not able to all be together for the final
landmark events such as the Leavers Assembly and of
course, the Prom.
You have been an amazing year group, we have shared
many experiences together (most notably being The Year
Group That Did Not Sit GCSE’s) and I have thoroughly
loved being your Head of Year and guiding you along
the way. I hope that you can take many happy memories
from your time with us and remember that you will
always be true Warwickians. Take care, good luck with
the next chapter and keep us updated as to how you get
along.
Mrs Davis
It’s been a pleasure and a privilege to see you grow and
mature over the last five years, I can’t believe it went so
quickly to be honest. Always try your hardest and make
sure you keep the values that you lived and worked by to
make our year group the best!
I wish you all the very best for your bright futures. Please
do let us know how things go and remember we are
always here for you.
Mr Chase

When I arrived at The Warwick in 2016
I gained 8MD and I have never known a tutor group
more open and inviting. Little did I know that I would
be privileged enough to call them mine until they left the
school for good. We have gained and lost a few members
over the years but the core have remained the same and
every one of them have contributed to our supportive
mini community.
11MD are a diverse group but we have all learnt from
one another and adapted over the years. Now as young
adults they venture onto college and apprenticeships; I
couldn’t be more proud of who they have become in the
time I have known them. I wish 11MD and all of Year
11 all the very best in the future.

your final year at The Warwick School. As your final
tutors, we have enjoyed getting to know you, seeing the

Dear 11SY,
Thank you for being my lovely form this year. I know that I have only been your form tutor for a short time but it
has been wonderful to see how far you’ve come in the last academic year, how mature you all are and how you have
dealt with the highs and lows of Year 11. It is sad that the end of the year ended so abruptly, here is a poem I wrote
for you all on your last day. Cheesy I know, but who doesn’t love a bit of cheese
It’s mad that this is your last day,
I haven’t quite worked out what to say,
Just be calm, be good, stay safe,
Remember life is not a race,
You are ready, you are strong,
Work hard and you won’t go wrong,
You have a world full of adventures to find,
And in a world where you can be anything—be kind.
Good luck in everything you do!
