Specification of 3020 EKO & 3030 EKO Method of Installation Cast-In-Situ EPDM rubber flooring is the next generation safe and versatile surfacing material developed to meet all safety standards. Cast-In-Situ EPDM system consists of 2-layer application. SBR base rubber size 5-8mm granules is the cushion layer made of recycled tires. A minimum ratio of 100:12 by weight between the rubber granules and the binder shall be mixed accordingly. Thickness is depending on the fall height of the play equipment. The final layer is rubber granules which are 1-4mm in size. The coloured layer can be designed according to the users needs. The base layer has to be mixed with the right proportion of Polyurethane binder which is a solvent free, single component, moisture curing binder based on polyurethane resin used to achieve best results.
