Join us as we celebrate all things spring! Once again this year, we are partnering with the Burlington Public Library, Conservation Department and Garden Club to provide some spring fun! We have a variety of activities for residents of all ages and abilities. We will be kicking off springapalooza with our spring fling at Wildwood park from 4 - 6:30 pm Join us for... Community Yard Sale Join us on May 20 from 9 am - 2 pm. Register to host a yard sale either at your own home or at a community location. Activity #: 300599 Family Disc Golf Clinic Learn how to play one of the fastest growing sports in the country with your family! Friday, May 12 from 6:30 - 8 pm. $30 per family. Teen Food Art Celebrate spring flowers by making edible flowers out of Starburst candies! Program will take place at the Library on Wednsday, May 3rd from 7 - 8 pm. For grades 6 - 12. Registration opens April 12. Spring Terrariums Make some fun terrariums with Miss Cynthia! Program will take place at the Library on Saturday, May 20 from 11 - 11:45 am. Best for grades preK-5. Registration opens May 13. Butterfly Sponge Art Make some fun butterfly art with sponges and paint. Program will take place at the Library on Thursday, May 11th from 4 - 4:45 pm. For grades K - 5. Registration opens May 4. Still Life Drawing: Nature Learn to sketch some simple objects from nature. Program will take place at the Library on Tuesday, May 16th from 4 - 4:45 pm. For grades 3 - 8. Registration opens May 2. Preschool Science: Plants Enjoy fun and educational science with Miss Cynthia. Program will take place at the Library on Thursday, May 25th from 11:30 am - 12 pm. Registration opens April 27. Tween Event: Paint with Diamonds Buttertly Stickers Create a beautiful butterfly sticker by painting with diamonds! Program will take place at the Library on Monday, May 1st from 7 - 8 pm. For grades 4 - 8. Registration opens April 10. Teen Paint Night: Button Trees Create a flowering tree painting with button accents! Program will take place at the Library on Monday, May 8th 7 - 8:30 pm. For grades 6 - 12. Registration opens April 17. Teen Event: Mason Jar Lanterns Make a mason jar lantern decorated with glass beads! Program will take place at the Library on Saturday, May 20 from 3 - 4 pm. For grades 6 - 12. Registration opens April 29.


Scavenger Hunt! Complete the scavenger hunt below to earn a small prize! Just check off the items as you find them in nature. Completed scavenger hunt sheets should be brought to the Burlington Public Library's Youth Desk Between April 27 and May 31 to claim your small prize. Hard copies of the hunt sheets can be picked up at the Recreation Center beginning April 26.
