INTRODUCTION

Leadership refers to the ability to take on the role of influencing others
towards goodness. A leader needs to have a personality that is able to
influence others as well as willing to be reprimanded or criticised by
others.
In the context of Islam, the strength of faith and confidence in Allah
SWT is an important aspect. A good leader does not easily give up
because he believes that Allah SWT is always with him.
Moreover, a good leader has a far-sighted or visionary mindset. They
will always be seen by the surrounding community as someone who has
values and trusted.

First, Tan Sri Muhyiddin is absolutely a wise leader.

• As we all know, our country and even the whole world are 'at war' with
the Coronavirus or COVID-19 pandemic.

• Under the leadership of our Prime Minister, he quickly set the Movement
Control Order (MCO) in March, 2020 as an attempt to curb the increasing
spread of COVID-19.

• This swift action proved successful in drastically reducing the spread of
this virus in our country.

• It clearly shows that our Prime Minister is very smart in taking action
even when he is new to the post.

Second Managing and stabilizing the

Tan Sri Muhyiddin is a good example for us Malaysians.

• In the press conference, he often advised all citizens to always practice social distancing

wherever they are because it can be the last bastion from the threat of Covid-19.

• He also did not tire of thanking all the frontliners for their sacrifices and commitment.

• He expressed his appreciation to all citizens who remained disciplined and adhered to SOP in

carrying out daily activities.

• Tan Sri Muhyiddin also led a prayer reading from the Covid-19 threat which has touched the

hearts of all Malaysians.
