PREAMBLE:

This report deals with the Electrical Safety Audit of Decathlon Sports India Pvt. Ltd., Sports
Store at Kalena Agrahara, Bhannerghatta Road, Bangalore-560036. The report presents
conditions as well as results of the Electrical Safety Audit carried out as per scope of work
given below.

SCOPE OF WORK:
The proposed electrical safety audit was carried out as per the scope given below:

• Review the Electrical Safety aspects in the substations, electrical equipment.
• Audit / Review of compliance to Statutory requirements as per the Electricity Act

& the Indian Electricity Rules & relevant Indian standards & Codes of practice
including IS- 3043.
• Review of Statutory Electrical documents & records.
• Review of personnel protective equipments.
• Review/Audit of protection schemes, protective devices and Emergency push
buttons of the installation.
• Verification of periodical checking of the earthing as per IS-3043 and suggest
suitable recording.
• Training on Electrical fire safety & identifying the training needs.
• Review & Audit of Electrical preventive maintenance. (EPM).

• Audit of installation lighting.
• Review of corrective actions taken on last audit findings.
• Any other safety aspect as may be warranted after review.

OBJECTIVES:

• Identify existing /potential fire and safety hazards in store.

• Study adequacy of existing measures, procedure and systems at place for
controlling identified hazards.

• Suggest required control measures in addition to existing ones accordingly to
minimize the risk.
