He graduated from UTBM France with a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering Design. His area of interest and work include marine seismic processing, 3D DAS VSP processing, multiple imaging and 4D imaging. HANNAN FATHULLAH ABDUL LATIB Senior Imaging Project Leader, CGG Moderator LIAU MIN HOE Head, Technical Assurance & Capability Exploration, Upstream Business, PETRONAS Min Hoe is currently heading the Technical Assurance & Capability team where he is responsible to carry out the technical assurance and capabilities of Geoscience, covering the Exploration and Development activities. Prior to this appointment, he was the Head of Myanmar Operations, International Asset in Upstream Business since August 2018. He started his career with PETRONAS in 2000 as an Exploration Geophysicist. Over his 22-year career, he undertook key roles in Exploration, Development and Production sectors in Upstream Business, as well as Group Internal Audit at PETRONAS group level. He was also involved in commercial related matters in his stint as Head of Basin Study for South East Asia and produced commercial proposals for new exploration block acquisitions. Min Hoe is an active member of Institute of Geologists Malaysia (IGM) and Society of Exploration Geophysicists (SEG) where he is the Co-chair of Artificial Intelligence Workshop 2022. He was also the Chair for Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), Myanmar Chapter between 2018 and 2021 He holds a Bachelor of Science in Geology from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia and a Master of Science in Petroleum Geology from Imperial College London. He has also completed the Senior Management Development Programme with DUKE Corporate Education. Ili brings 15 years’ experience with international operators successfully leading teams to evaluate exploration and appraisal opportunities globally. She was a geologist and team leader in PETRONAS involved in projects in Vietnam, Gabon and Malaysia. She later joined Petrofac as a Senior Geologist in appraisal and development projects in Romania and Mexico. Ili joined Westwood Global Energy Group in 2018 as Senior Analyst where she led exploration & appraisal research in the Asia Pacific region. EAGE operates two divisions: the Oil & Gas Geoscience Division and the Near Surface Geoscience Division. EAGE has more than 19,000 members worldwide representing over 100 countries. All members of EAGE are professionally involved in (or studying) geophysics, petroleum exploration, geology, reservoir engineering, mining and civil engineering.
