TRAINER
About the busiest guy in town when the National Hockey League season
opens, is Seal trainer Barry Keast.
Keast is responsible for every piece of equipment owned by the team from
shoelaces to shoulder pads; as well as the treatment of the many illnesses and
injuries which afflict a hockey team during the course of a lengthy season.
A player himself for many years, Keast admits "When I saw I didn't have
enough talent to make it as a pro; I became a trainer." He got his start for
the Niagara Falls Flyers of the Ontario Jr. A OHA circuit and the next year
moved to Cleveland.
This 27-year-old native of Barrie, Ont. spent three seasons with coach Fred
Glove and the Barons.

DILLABOUGH
Bob Dillabough was in the middle of his best ever season in the National
Hockey League when all of a sudden he went cartwheeling into the boards behind
the Philadelphia net in the Flyers' Spectrum Arena.
Out cold from the impact of his collision with the boards, Bob was on his The Tri·Compax Chronograph sim·

damage. Hauled off on a stretcher, Dilly was given some 15 stitches in three problems. This superbly accurate

Interestingly, by Bob's own assessment, this has been his best season ever
in the NHL. "I've had better scoring years, but I don't think I've had a year
where I've made such a good team contribution. I'm skating harder and moving
the puck better than I ever have. But I think the good balance of ability on
this team has helped me to be a better player."

Alex Delvecchio
He's sometimes called "The Gray
Fox," and it's an apt description of the
37-year-old Detroit Red Wing pivot.
His graying hair belies the grace and
style which typifies his flowing action.
Last year, although playing for a club
which finished last, Delvecchio finished
with 22 goals and 48 assists and ranked
eighth in the NHL scoring race. The
rebuilding Red Wings hope "The Gray
Fox" will impart some of his experi-
ence to his younger mates as the Wings
attempt to shake the East Division
cellar.
