Technically speaking, Catalina’s innovations
have raised industry standards.


Our swim spas range in length from 12 to 21 feet and come in depths
of 42, 51, 54, and 62 inches. Swim currents are achieved via jet streams
powered by large pumps located at the front of the swim area. While
jetted currents are generally known in the industry for turbulence,
Catalina’s research and development eliminated this issue by
engineering unique “river jets” – elongated, oval-shaped nozzles – that
deliver a wider, calmer current, similar to gravity-driven river currents.
The rate of flow on swim currents is adjustable – meaning you can
program them to be minimal for beginners or much stronger with
increased resistance for seasoned athletes. Current speeds range from
novice to expert.

We use circulating pumps with filtration systems that are computer-
driven and programmable to address your personal needs and lifestyle.
You select the desired mode of service, and your unit automatically
maintains this setting, while conserving as much energy as possible.
Our Wi-Fi Spa Control System even makes it possible for you to manage
your spa via your computer and/or smart phone – which means your
inviting spa can be waiting for you, set to your preferred temperature,
upon your arrival at home. What could be better?

Through research and development, we’ve developed our own Patent
HeatFlow Technology that captures and recycles the heat from natural friction
created when water passes through operating spa components. This process
automatically increases water temperature up to three degrees every hour or
one degree every 20 minutes if your unit is in use or operating at high speed.
This distinctive technology is applied to all Catalina models and can reduce
annual costs by as much as 12 percent.

In addition, each unit’s pressurized filtration system automatically treats
the unit’s water twice daily, injecting ozone, a natural purifying agent that
eliminates contaminants and further reduces maintenance time and costs. Add
