Soap making material
1. 150 grams used cooking oils
2. 150 grams water
3. 30 grams Sodium Hydroxide
4. 3 glass jars
5. Scales
6. Glove
7. Silicone mold
8. Plastic spoons
9. Wooden spoons / 3-tooth
Adding Sodium Hydroxide to water is
highly caustic. Put on gloves and work
outside or in a well ventilated room.
Now Let's make soap !
Step in making soap
1.Firstly, weigh 30 grams of Sodium Hydroxide.
2.Secondly, add the Sodium Hydroxide into a jar of
water.Then, mix the solution and wait for it to cool
down and turn transparent.
3.Next, Slowly add the Sodium Hydroxide and water
mixture to the used cooking oil while stirring. Stir
until the mixture reaches a thick consistency. You
can add some fragrance and food colouring to make
the soap more intresting.
4. After that, add the mixture to the silicone mold and
let the soap dry for one day in the mold.
5. Lastly, remove the soap from the mold and let the
soap cure for 4 weeks before us
