OPTIONS BOOK

ABOUT ARTWORK:




Your design begins as vector artwork and is transformed into
embroidery, heat transfer, a patch or screen print. Providing vector


artwork (.AI, .ESP, .PDF) can expedite the request process though the
Logo Team can vectorize any raster images (.JPG, .PNG) provided.




Color matching is a top priority and we will match your design as


closely as possible with the color options we have available. Including
a Pantone number and branding standards is appreciated.




Often a logo will need a version for on lights (khaki) and on darks (navy).


For example an all navy logo on darks is hard to see so the on darks
version would be executed in white. Color suggestions are helpful if


this is anticipated.



STANDARD LOGO PLACEMENTS:



Examples of standard logo placements include Left or Right Chest,
Left or Right Sleeve, Back Yoke, Full Back, or Front of Hat. In the event


a garment has a restriction in the desired location, the next best
alternatives will be offered.

Chest: W 4.00" x H 3.00"
Sleeve: W 3.00" x H 3.00"


Yoke: W 3.50" x H 3.00"
Full Back: W 11.00" x H 9.00" With Striping: W 8.00" x H 6.00"

EMBROIDERY







Direct embroidery is our staple embellishment type, available in two

thread options. Please reach out for a link to see all stock thread colors.


FLAME RESISTANT THREAD:



Our flame resistant thread is custom-made exclusively for Tyndale. It

is inherently flame resistant, meaning that its flame resistance will not
wash out or wear off. FR thread is slightly thicker, fuzzier and less shiny

than non-FR rayon thread. FR thread is available in 15 colors.




RAYON THREAD:



Rayon thread is available in a wide range of 100+ colors with some
Pantone matching capabilities. Rayon thread is not flame resistant

and is typically preferred for highly-detailed or complex logo designs

because it is shinier and thinner than our FR thread. It is used to add
logos to non-FR garments and may be appropriate to add small logos

– which introduce a negligible amount of flammable material – to
some flame resistant garments. The size of a credit card (W 3.50" x H

2.00") is often a good rule of thumb for the maximum allowable size of

a non-FR logo on an FR garment.

Taglines and text must be at least .25" tall to embroider clearly and may

need to be altered or omitted for best execution.

HEAT TRANSFER







Heat transfer applied logos are great for small details and color

matching.

GOOF PROOF:




These screen printed heat transfers have an opaque, matte finish. There
are 70+ stock ink colors and Pantone matching is available.


FR REFLECTIVE:



These transfers are one color flame resistant reflective material.

CAD PRINTED:



These transfers have a soft matte finish and print your logo in full color,

making it suitable for gradients. An outline is sometimes required for
this transfer type.


ULTRACOLOR SOFT:



These transfers have a matte finish and print your logo in full color,

making it suitable for gradients. A thin clear outline is required for
this transfer. UltraColor can be used on irregular fabric types such as

polyester performance wear.










PLEASE NOTE:

Besides FR Reflective, heat transfers are not inherently flame resistant.

When subjected to arc flash testing there is no adverse effect,

therefore heat transfers can be applied safely to FR garments. Please
reach out for the Certification of Compliance if needed.

PATCHES







We also offer a variety of patch options that are sewn to the garment.



FLAME RESISTANT:



These embroidered patches are made with 100% flame resistant
materials with a merrowed border. There are 20+ thread color options

and 6 background fabric options.

POLYESTER:



These patches are embroidered with non-FR polyester thread and

have a merrowed border. There are 90+ thread color options and 50
background fabric options.


PRINTED:



These patches are digitally printed in full color. Like our embroidered
patches they have a merrowed border sewn in the thread color of your

choice. There are 80+ color options and 50 background fabric options.


CUSTOM CUT:


Custom cut patches can use flame resistant or polyester thread and are

completed in the unique shape of your choice.

SCREEN PRINT







Screen printing is also available as an alternative to heat transfer.



RAINWEAR:



All black screen printing is available for rubber rainwear.




FULL COLOR:



Full color screen printing produces the same result as our Goof Proof

heat transfer without heat for use on heat sensitive garments. Pantone

PLEASE NOTE:


All efforts will be made to align the striping front and back to give the
appearance of continuity between two sides; this may cause some

variation in placement to allow for different sized garments.



Garments with a fabric weight of less than 5oz are not able to receive

sewn reflective striping.

STRIPING PLACECMENT:




The following configurations are dependent on garment restrictions.




There may be some variance in application depending on garment size,
spacing, and design. This is of particular note because striping cannot

be placed directly over seams. We try our best to match both ends to

create a continuous stripe around seam areas. This is also applicable
to sleeves, which may not be applied in a continuous stripe, depending

on the garment.

ALTERATIONS









There are several additions that we can add to a garment for
convenience.



OXYGEN LOOPS/ PVD STRAPS:



Oxygen loops and straps can be placed on either side of a garment.


































LAUNDRY BARCODE



Laundry barcodes can be added to garments for industrial washing.
The placement of the barcode is determined by the garments.

FLAGS







A variety of flags are offered to compliment your logo. Reverse options

for right sleeve are available for all.


DIRECT EMBROIDERY:



Direct embroidery flags are available in a standard size of W 2.18" x

H 1.17" or a larger size of W 3.54" x H 2.01". They are available in flame
resistant or rayon thread. Examples on the right are executed in rayon.




HEAT TRANSFER:



Heat transfer flags are sized at W 3.00" x H 2.00".




SEWN PATCH:



Flag patches are available in non-FR polyester thread and are sized

at W 3.50" x H 2.00". Patches are sewn on to garments for maximum
durability.




REVERSED FLAGS:




Reversed U.S. flags are suitable for placement on right sleeves. This
is to match the standard that the flag must be depicted with the stars

facing forward, relative to the wearer.

ABOUT DIGITAL COLORS:





Colors on your computer screen may differ slightly from

the physical thread or ink colors. This is because we

see color subjectively, and because of other variables


like computer screen brightness, luminosity, and color

composition.




Physical samples of your logo applied to fabric or a

garment are available upon request. Your logo is not

official until you are satisfied and have signed off on the

approval document.
