LSC-CyFair Public Library

Location

LSC-Cyfair Public Library is located on the CyFair Lonestar campus in the LRNC building. The
LRNC can be found between CASA and TECH, facing the south side of the campus, towards
West Road.

The LRNC Building is indicated by the #3 mark on the map below.

Fall Semester Hours

The LSC-CyFair Public Library is open at the following hours, during the fall semester.

Monday – Thursday: 7:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.
Friday: 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Saturday: 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Sunday: 1:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Furthermore, online resources such as the research database and ebooks are available 24/7.

LSC-CyFair Public Library Resources

The LSC-CyFair Public Library provides a number of resources for a student to utilize. The
following list of resources require no appointment to utilize:

1) Checking out educational materials from the library catalog and even from other
libraries, including Books, Videos, CDs, Articles, and more. Instructors may reserve
course material for use by students.

2) An array of research databases and guides to help students find articles and information
on various subjects.

3) Dedicated Librarians who can provide students with guided advice on particular
subjects.

4) Desktop computers for use within the library, and laptops that can be checked out.
5) Free Wifi with a student login.
6) A print-station, for printing your documents.

These resources do require an appointment to utilize:
1) One-on-one Tutoring, if a student needs personal help with a subject.

2) Meeting & Study Rooms with a capacity for 6-8 people, providing students with a place
to study and discussion subject material in private.

3) Research Apps & Tools, including a mobile-friendly app for viewing the library catelog, an app
for accessing subscriptions and the research database via mobile, an assignment calculator,
group research organizing, and bibliographic tools.

The Library is open and available all year round, but hours might be reduced for the holidays according
