Research Title :

Develop a Sustainable Transport System in University of Malaya Campus

Research objectives:

1. To develop a system to reduce the motorized vehicle trips within the campus.
2. To propose a campus transport policy.

3. To create awareness and promote campus community to reduce usage of motorized transport mode in
campus.

This research project is carried out under UM Living Lab grant program. The main purpose of this
research is to help University Malaya community to have a better air quality and to reduce usage of cars
arriving in campus. This database is created to those who are interested and willing to participate
in University Malaya Carpool Program so as to find better match for carpool members. Participation is
voluntary for the University of Malaya community. Your data collected will be kept confidentially secured
from any other intention and only will be use for research purpose .

UM Living Lab Safe DUMP (Safe Disposal of Unused Medicines)

If you have any unused or expired medicines, kindly return it to UM Medical Centre (UMMC/PPUM)
Pharmacy. This initiatives is part of the UM Living Lab Safe DUMP Project led by Dr. Lee Hong Gee
(Mary) and her dedicated team from Faculty of Medicine with strong support from UM Medical Centre
(PPUM) in order to minimize harmful effects of improper disposal of such medicines which usually thrown
into our sewage system or landfill. One of the main aims of this project is toeducate the public to
practice safe disposal of unused medications by depositing them in designated locations.
