IQAC 2012 -13 24 STAKEHOLDERS’ SAY Education for quality has three categories of beneficiaries: students, stakeholders and the overall society. Performance requirements in all areas, including education, involve sustainable efforts to adapt or change. Educational institutions must respond to new challenges that require flexibility, speed, complexity, and provide learners with both, skills and effective work tools in order to produce/claim quality. The human factor is the most important component of the quality system, with a significant contribution to the success of continuous quality improvement program. Quality should be an integral part of the organization's culture. Developing quality culture requires a change in attitudes, skills and abilities of the actors of the system. I hope CSSM will strive for all these. Mr.A.R.TambeGeneral Secretary Chembur Education Society TEACHERS ORGANISATIONAL CITIZENSHIP BEHAVIOUR Mr. Chandrashekher Chakradeo - Asst. Professor Organizational Citizenship Behaviour (OCB) is a teachers’ voluntary commitment within an institution or college that is not the part of his or her contractual tasks. OCB is a discretionary kind of behaviour which is not dependent on formal reward systems of the institution. The OCB can be manifested in various ways. There are several indicators of such behaviour. The teachers of CSSM exhibit this behaviour through Altruism, Sportsmanship, courtesy, civic virtue, & conscientiousness. This behaviour is reciprocated by the student fraternity. This led to achieving “A” grade twice consecutively by NAAC.
