About the University
At a glance, we would like to introduce ourselves as an academic leader for Women's education for the
Technical and professional education in India. We, The Jayoti Vidyapeeth Women's University, Jaipur has
been established and incorporated under the Act 17 of 2008 passed by the Rajasthan State Legislature
and notified by the Government of Rajasthan through its official Gazette Notification No. F.2 (23) Vidhi/
2/2008 dated April 21, 2008. The University is offering almost all disciplines i.e. Ayurveda, Homoeopathy,
Yoga & Naturopathy, Physiotherapy, Medical Lab Technology, Optometry, Radiation Technology,
Pharmacy, Humanities, Engienerring, Education, Agriculture, Polytechnique Education, Journalism,
Food & Biotechnology, Law, Allied Science, Commerce and Management except Modern Medicine &
Veterinary Science which are likely to be started very soon.
The Jayoti Vidyapeeth Women's University is recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC) under
Section 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956 and programs offered by the University are recognized by the Central
Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM), Central Council of Homoeopathy (CCH), Bar Council of India (BCI),
Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), National Council For Teacher Education (NCTE) and Distance
Education Bureau (DEB)-UGC.
The University is also associated with association of Indian Universities (AIU), Association of
Commonwealth Universities (ACU), Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI),
Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Associated Chambers of Commerce & Industry of India
(ASSOCHAM) etc.
With a commitment to provide “Education for Community Development” leading to women
empowerment, Jayoti Vidyapeeth Women's University, JVWU offers a transformational experience where
highest integrity, professional commitment and ethics are inbuilt in the training mechanism itself, so that
the ambassadors of tomorrow have an effective personality and ability to address social, economic and
technological challenges of the world. This is a fully secured girl's Residential University blend seamlessly
to provide students with a perfect & safe atmosphere to live and study and we have world-class

The University is being governed by Women Administrators at all levels. Honourable Founder and
Advisor of the University, Dr. Panckaj Garg has been awarded by India Book of Records for being the
youngest founder of a University in India. The extraordinary offerings and innumerable deeds have
helped the University to achieve various recognitions and awards including India's Best Private Women's
University by Brands Academy for Efforts in Women Education in 2013, India's Excellent Women Higher
Education Institutes for efforts in Women Education by Elets Technomedia in 2014, Outstanding

I extend my esteemed blessings for the three dimensional activities
as organizing a National Conference, Conferring Awards and
publishing e-Souvenir. It is a matter of pleasure for me that voices of
women are being recognized across the Country and an intellectual
gathering is all set to visit global campus of Jayoti Vidyapeeth
Women's University, Jaipur. I welcome all the Academicians,
Researchers and Technocrats and other participants on this
auspicious occasion of National Conference and award ceremony
being organized by the University Mother Teresa Chair in
collaboration with Mahila Aayog, Government of Rajasthan,
Faculty of Law and Governance, Jayoti Vidyapeeth Women's
University, Jaipur in the Conference titled “Recent Law Reforms
and Corporate & Social Governance by Women” (RLCS-2018) scheduled to be held from 14-16
May, 2018. The primary objective of this conference is to offer a common platform for the academicians,
researchers, students and industry professionals to share their innovative ideas and scientific
achievements. Also discuss conference title based issues and their solutions to boost women
empowerment in the country through technical and professional education. Pleased to know that Chair is

It imparts immense pleasure that Jayoti Vidyapeeth Women's
University, Jaipur, University Mother Teresa Chair, Faculty of
Law and Governance , in collaboration with Mahila Aayog,
Government of Rajasthan is organising the National
Conference & Academic Awards Ceremony on "Recent Law
Reforms and Corporate & Social Governance by Women "
RLCS-2018,scheduled to be held from 14-16 May, 2018, with
its primary objective to offer a common platform for the
academicians, researchers, students and industry professionals
to share their innovative ideas and legal achievements. Chair
will also confer different awards to the suitable brain of the
country.
Being the first State University of its kind in the country and having numerous
state-of-the art program and courses, the conference will help discuss women based issues and
solutions thereof to boost women's empowerment in the country's development.
The four sessions of the conference with its different themes like: Rule of Law & Socio-legal
Governance, Legislation for Social Protection of Women in India, Role and position of Women at
work place, Corporate and Social Governance by Women Administrators are expected be
exhaustive, imperative and fruitful.
I am sure the mission of University to provide “Education for Community Development" will be
reinforced further through the conference.
The venue of the conference, Prof. Rekha Govil Auditorium, is to witness the auspicious presence
and welcome ceremony of the Chief Patron of the conference, Jv'n Vidushi Garg, Hon'ble
Chairperson, the Advisor of the conference, Jv'n Dr. Panckaj Garg, Hon'ble Founder & Advisor,
during the inaugural, technical sessions and awards ceremony as well.
The key note addresses of Prof (Dr) RK Patni, Dean, Faculty of Law & Governance, JVWU, Jaipur
Chair will add knowledge and motive towards research, innovation, incubation and start ups.
The Convener, Jv'n Dr. Rouhangiz Hayati Dahia, President, Co-Convener, Jv'n Dr. Pramod K.
Raghav, Pro- President and the Organizing Secretary, Jv'n Dr. R. K. Patni, Faculty of Law and
Governance with the Coordintors: Jv'n Dr.Beena Dewan, Jv'n Dr. Mini Amit Arrawatia, Jv'n
Shikha Jalan, Jv'n Himani Shokeen, are all the way taking care and devoted for conference,
wherein about more than 300 technical papers and about 200 participants are expected to arrive.

ceremony in presence of Hon'ble Founder and Advisor, Dr. Panckaj Garg will boost up the zeal for

.Undoubtedly the organizing Committee of the conference has

The session started with the Key Note address of Dr. Anil Mehta, Retd. Professor, University of Rajasthan,
on “Legislation for Social Protection of Women in India”. He spoke on “Role of women in corporate
sector”. Dr. Mehta emphasizes on the opportunities for women in corporate sector and services and
discussed the current scenario of requirement of women employee and her condition and rule regulation

India has enriched historical study spectrum in all the ields of legal
study and according to a data about 2,500 laws are in force at present
and Indian Constitution is sovereign law of the land which has shown
its supremacy even in the time of emergency circumstances of the
nation - said Sir Dr. Panckaj Garg, Honorable Founder and Advisor of
Jayoti Vidyapeeth Women's University, Jaipur. Dr. Garg was
addressing a mammoth gathering of learned participants as the
Academic wizards of their ields reached here from the different
prestigious Institutions of the Country, Faculty members, Research

around 500 audience present in the Rekha Govil Sabhagar that Indian Jurist like Chanakya who said
that foreign policy should be based in such a way as to honour the neighbouring countries and viceversa
alongwith raising the status of women in the society at large.
Dr. Garg vehemently appreciated the dedicating and daring academic leadership of the Honorable
Chairperson of the University JV'n Vidushi Gargji as the Youngest Chancellor of Nation's First State
Private Women's University. Dr. Panckaj Garg also announced that all Faculty of the University should
plan for the next year's International conferences by collaborating the International Institutions and
bodies. Other dignitaries who were present in the concluding gathering of National Conference includes
