I am very glad to share that The Faculty of Ayurvedic Science (Including Department of

Naturopathy & Yogic Science), Faculty of Homeopathic Science, Faculty of Pharmaceutical
Science and Faculty of Physiotherapy & Diagnostics, Jayoti Vidyapeeth Women's University,

Jaipur Organized the National Conference on “Veda's Recognition as Source of Reference in
AYUSH, Modern Medicine Pharmacopeia & Diagnostic Methods” VRAMD-2018 was held

during 24 - 26 June, 2018.

Blessings of dignitaries like Secretary Ministry of AYUSH, President & Vice President PCI, DG

CCRAS & Secretary IPC were received as source of inspiration.

Veda's are recognized as standard books from ancient times. The conference focused on
Importance on Veda's as Source of Reference in AYUSH, Modern Medicine Pharmacopeia &

Diagnostic Methods.

This is a matter of fact that no systemic comparative review of different medicinal plants under

different systems of medicine such as Ayurveda, Homeopathy & Modern Systems of Medicine
have been made. In present conference we will make an effort to compare the phytochemical and

therapeutic aspects of different medicinal plants in Ayurveda, Homeopathy & Modern System of
Medicine with Pharmacopoeial aspects & ancient literature referencing. This conference also

covered Veda's importance in Naturopathy, Yoga and various Diagnostic methods.

An effort was also been made to correlate pharmacopeia of different systems with Veda's, because
Pharmacopoeias are considered as official book of reference in various system of medicine.


As a concluding remark I express my thanks to all the stakeholder for making the conference a
