Cycling Event

DATE: Tuesday 14th May
TIME: 5.30pm onwards
VENUE: Silverstone Race Track
(Brooklands Entrance)

Don’t forget your
HELMETS & TICKETS

Collection from school

Dear Parents,
On Tuesday 14th May over 100 children
will leave Beachborough to take part in the
Charity Cycle Ride at Silverstone.

Pick up is planned for 4.30pm and will therefore coincide with the normal
collection time of Forms I, II and III as well as being immediately after the
pre-prep collection at 3.30pm.
In order to reduce congestion as much as possible, the school is offering three
options:
1. Park as normal in the car parking spaces that are available and collect

from the front hall.
2. Park on the school field at the bottom of Mill Lane and collect from the

front hall.
3. Inform the member of staff who will be waiting at the front gate from

4.25pm onwards that you wish to ‘pick and go’. He will use his walkie–talkie
to inform the marshall in the front hall that you are on your way and have
your child(ren) waiting for you as you swing round the turning circle.
Although children inevitably forget instructions given to them over a sleepy
breakfast, please give your child(ren) some indication of your intentions.

Have fun cycling,
Jonathan Whybrow
