Clarence and Roshunda Parker are the transparent and energetic founders and directors of Victorious Vows Marriage Ministry. VVMM was birthed by God and founded, in November 2018 at New Direction Community of Love Church under the leadership of Pastor Sie Allen III. They recognized that a healthy marriage took work and whatever you sow is what you will reap. For high school sweethearts who were married at the tender age of 19 and 20 years old without a blueprint for marriage and experiencing a few challenges, they learned the ingredients to a happy, healthy and whole covenant union. So, after 27 years of marriage with some ups and downs, tragedies and triumphs, mountain highs and valley lows, God put an urgency in their spirits to help other marriages succeed. They soon found that by placing God at the center, they could overcome anything and conquer the world. According to Ecclesiastes 4:12, “And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken.” They desired to help married couples S.E.E. (strengthen, enhance, empower) their commitment to their spouses. After years of quarterly marriage gatherings, couples outings, and several seminars, Victorious Vows transitioned into a community-based ministry where married couples from different churches, cities, and states would gather together to enrich their marriages. Clarence and Roshunda have been married for 32 years with two beautiful, amazingly talented, God-fearing daughters whom God blessed them to conceive after thirteen years of marriage. This is their true testament that God does answer prayers! They are blessed with Chloe Simone (18) who is an honor student at Prairie View A&M University and Rylee Sanae (15) who is a high school sophomore/early college student. This couple strongly believes that date nights are important to keep your marriage thriving and you must keep God first and your marriage will last!
