MY PRINCIPLES IN
TEACHING
I PERSONALLY HAVE A FEW PRINCIPLES IN TEACHING,
WHICH IS ONE I MUST MAKE SURE MY STUDENST ARE
HAPPY TO LEARN AND ALSO THEY ARE LEARNING IN A
COMFORTABLE WAY BECAUSE IT ALSO CONNECTS WITH
THEIR MENTAL HEALTH WHICH IS A KEY ELEMENT NOW IN
STUDENTS. I WANT THEM TO LEARN HAPPILY AND NOT
STRESSED AND ALSO I DO BELIEVE IN TEAMWORK RATHER
THAN HOMEWORK BECAUSE IN MY PRINCIPLE TEAMWORK
IS MORE EFFECTIVE THAN HOMEWORK. STUDENTS TEND TO
LEARN MORE WHEN THEY DO TEMAWORK RATHER THAN
HOMEWORK AND ALSO THEY GET TO SHARE THEIR
KNOWLEDGE TO THEIR FRIENDS TOO. NOT ONLY THAT
HAVING A GOOD AND STRONG RELATIONSHIP WITH
STUDENTS TENDS TO MAKE THEM MORE OPEN AND SHARE
THEIR DIFFICULTIES IN STUDIES AND IT HELPS TEACHER
TO FIND A WAY TO HELP THEM.

FIRST OF ALL I WO
ULD LIKE TO THANK OUR MADAM
FOR TEACHING US THIS SUBJECT AND GIVING US AN
OPPORTUNITY TO LEARN AND ENJOY THIS SUBJECT.
THESE PAST 13 WEEKS I LEARNED A LOT OF DIFFERENT
TECHNIQUES OF QUESTIONING, HOW TO DO A LESSON
PLAN PROPERLY AND DIFFERENT TYPES OF TEACHING
TECHNIQUES. NOT ONLY THAT I ALSO LEARNED
DIFFERENT TYPES OF WEBSITES FOR TEACHING
STUDENTS RATHER THAN THE SAME WEBSITES LIKE
KAHOOT AND ALSO QUIZIZZ. MADAM NIRMALA MADE
OUR CLASSES EASIER TO UNDERSTAND AS SHE IS
ALWAYS ENERGETIC AND FUN TO BE WITH. SHE
ALWAYS MOTIVATES US TO MOVE FORWARD AND ALSO
WHEN IT COMES TO TASKS AND PROJECTS SHE MAKES
SURE THAT WE UNDERSTAND IT THROUGHLY. THE WAY
THAT SHE TEACHES US IS REALLY UNDERSTANDABLE
AND SHE IS THE INSPIRATION TO ALL OF US. I HOPE
ONE DAY I WOULD BE THE TEACHER LIKE HER AND
MAKE SURE MY STUDENTS UNDERSTAND WHAT THEY
LEARN IN THEIR EVERYDAY CLASSES AND HELP THEM
AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE.
WEEK 1 (8/9/2021)-(9/9/2021)
THIS CLASS WAS THE FIRST AND SECOND CLASS AND THE
VERY FIRST WEEK OF OUR FINAL SEMESTER. WHEN WE
ATTENDED THIS CLASS OUR LECTURE MADAM NIRMALA
BRIEFED US ABOUT THE SUBJECT, THE SOW OF THIS
SUBJECT, PROJECTS, ASSIGNMENTS AND OTHER TASKS
NEEDED FOR THIS CLASS. SHE ALSO STATED TO
EXPLAINED THE LEARNING OBJECTIVES OF THIS SUBJECT
TO THE CLASS. AFTER THAT WE HEADED ON TO OUR
VERY FIRST TOPIC WHICH IS " TEACHING AND
MICROTEACHING ". WE ALSO LEARNED ABOUT KSSM AND
CERF. ON THE SECOND CLASS OUR LECTURE TAUGHT US
ABOUT DSKP AND ALSO HOW TO CONSTRUCT OUR
OWN CONTENT STANDARD AND LEARNING STANDARD
AND ALSO WE WERE BRIEFLY TAUGHT ABOUT THE
NEWEST AND LATEST LESSON PLAN.
WEEK 2 (15/9/2021)
ON THIS LECTURE CLASS WE STUDIED AND LEARNED
ABOUT HOW WE CAN CREATE LEARNING OBJECTIVES
FROM SCRATCH. OUR LECTURE TAUGHT US THAT WHEN
CREATING AN OBJECTIVE IT SHOULD BE CREATIVE AND
UNDERSTANDABLE AND ALSO ACCORDING TO THE LESSON
WE ARE TEACHING BECAUSE THE LEARNING OBJECTIVE IS
A VERY BIG AND MAJOR PART IN OUR LESSON PLAN. WE
WERE ALSO TAUGHT THAT WE NEED TO INFORM OUR
STUDENTS ABOUT THE LESSON PLAN SO THAT THEY KNOW
WHAT THEY ARE GOING TO LEARN.
WEEK 3 (22/9/2021)-(23/9/2021)
FOR THIS WEEK WE LEARNT A NEW TOPIC WHICH IS THE
"SET INDUCTION" OUR LECTURE TOLD US THAT DOING A
CREATIVE AND DETAILED INTRO IS KEY IN A LESSON. WE
GOT TO UNDERSTAND THE FULL MEANING OF SET
INDUCTION AND ALSO THE STRATEGIES INVOLVED IN
DOING THE SET INDUCTION. ON THE NEXT CLASS WHICH
IS THE DAY AFTER THIS CLASS WE WERE ALL GIVEN A
TASK WHERE WE HAVE TO COME OUT WITH TWO
ACTIVITIES BY USING THE FOUR STRATEGIES THAT WE
LEARNED AND ALSO THEY ACTIVITIES SHOULD BE
SUITABLE FOR BOTH ONLINE AND FACE TO FACE
CLASSES.
WEEK 4 (29/9/2021)-(30/9/2021)
IN THIS CLASS WE BEGAN CHAPTER 5 WHICH IS
QUESTIONING TECHNIQUES. WE WERE TOLD BY OUR
LECTURE THAT QUESTIONING REQUIRES STRATEGIES AND
IT NOT AN EASY TASK TO TO AND WE HAD TO FOLLOW THE
10 TECHNIQUES THAT OUR LECTURE INTRODUCED TO US
AND AS A PRACTICE WE WERE GIVEN A TASK WHERE WE
HAD TO DEVELOP 6 QUESTIONS ACCORDING TO THE
BLOOMS TAXONOMY PYRAMID. AFTER THIS TASK ON THE
NEXT DAY WE STARTED TO PRESENT OUR MOCK TEACHING
PRESENTATION. ALL OF US PRESENTED OUR MOCK
TEACHING AND WE WERE ALSO ASKED TO DO PEER
EVALUATION WHERE WE HAD TO EVALUATE OUR PEERS
FIRST STAGE OF MOCK TEACHING AND GIVE OUR
FEEDBACKS TO OUR PEER.

BUSY WITH OUR PLAY PRODUCTION,
REHEARSALS AND THEATER CLASSES. SHE
UPLOADED THE RECORDED CLASS IN OUR
GOOGLE CLASSROOM FOR US TO VIEW LATER.
AS FOR THE TUTORIAL CLASS WE WERE GIVEN

WE WERE GIVEN A LECTURE ON THE CLOSURE. WE WERE
REMINDED THAT A CLOSURE IS VERY IMPORTANT AS IT
SUMS UP THE WHOLE CLASS FOR THE DAY. THIS IS THE
PART WE LEARNED HOW TO DO A REFLECTION FOR A
CLASS. THIS LESSON CONTINUED ON THE NEXT DAY TOO

WE WERE GIVEN A TASK AS WARM UP
BEFORE OUR CLASS STARTED WHICH IS WE
HAD TO DO AN ANALYSIS OF THE MOVIE.
THE MOVIES WERE, HARRY PORTER,
FREEDOM WRITERS AND DEAD POET’S
SOCIETY. WE HAD TO FIND OUT WHAT ARE
THE STRATEGIES USED BY THE TEACHERS.

PURPOSE OF STUDENT’S INDEPENDENT LEARNING. AS
A TEAM OF 5 WE HAD TO COME UP WITH 10
DIFFERENT ACTIVITIES INCLUDING ALL THE 4 SKILLS
WE LEARNT. A LONG DISCUSSION WE DECIDED TO
CHOOSE FORM 4. WE TOOK THE CHAPTER 7, MOTHER
NATURE.

FOR THIS PROJECT WE AS A TEAM HAD TO DO A
MOCKTEACHING VIDEO. THE CRITERIAS WE BROKEN
DOWN INTO SEVERAL PARTS AND PRESENT IT TO THE
CLASS. MY FRIENDS ACTED AS MY STUDENTS. DURING
PRESENTATION MY FRIENDS AND MADAM GAVE ME THEIR
FEEDBACKS WHICH ALLOWED ME TO IMPROVE MYSELF
