With your experience as a GML editor for last year I am sure that

this AG News Letter will Come out with flying colours.
Let this be an Inspiration to other AG's also to try out, similar News

letter from their Zone.
My Wishes and Compliments for your effort.

R.V.N.Kannan
Dist Governor - RI Dist 3000

Dear Friends in Rotary,

I am happy to write in this newsletter as Assistant Governor of zone 17(Karur). First of
all, I would like to thank our District Governor Rtn. RVN. Kannan for giving me this
wonderful opportunity to lead 3 Clubs namely Rotary Club of Karur, Karur Central,
and Karur Angels. I have planned to release Assistant Governor News Letter
covering the activities of the assigned 3 Clubs, which will help publishing the
activities of the clubs.

This Rotary year 2018-19 begins with Rotary International President Barry Rassin's
energised theme “Be the Inspiration” . This theme motivates us to be the Role model
through our service projects and activities. Then our District theme insists us to do the
activities Happily and spread Happiness. We must be the Inspiration by having Purposeful
and Progressive Year.

Representing DG I had attended all three assigned club's installation. My first participation as an
Assistant Governor was in the installation of Rotary Club of Karur Central. They did several
community service projects and their club members have enrolled Organ donation agreement.

Rotary Club of Karur is one of the senior most clubs in district, largest in district, second largest in India
and home club of RI Director Basker Chockalingam. I'm very much happy to be a part of this
Prestigious Club as the Assistant Governor for 2018-19. RI Director C. Basker launched the seed ball
project and I received the 1st Bag from him. The projects launched on the day of installation
impressed everyone.

Being an Assistant Governor of my home club is really a pride moment. Karur Angels Installation
projects covered all five avenues of services. Along with various service projects, President handed
over a cheque to TRF for EREY (Every Rotarian Every Year).

I wanted to motivate the assigned clubs. So I insisted the clubs to follow 3A (Aim Act Achieve) to
achieve RI, District and club goals. Results of “3A" will be published in this AG News Letter and I
named this News Letter as "3A n Action".

I hope 3A clubs will make me proud. I thank my dear 3A Presidents & Secretaries for their extensive
support to me to achieve the goals of our DG.

Happy to Be the Inspiration..!

Rtn.Vinitha Mohan,
Zone 17 Assistant Governor,
RI District 3000.

“We are a membership organization first. And if we want to be able to serve, if we want to succeed in
our goals — we have to take care of our members first.”
-2018-19 RI President Barry Rassin

Dear Rotarian,
Wish you all a happy & purposeful Inspiration Rotary year
2018-19. Thank you very much for making a Journey with me
as a Regional Co- Ordinator.

I am proud to work under the leadership of our District Governor Rtn.
R.V.N. Kannan and his team.

I feel great about the opportunity to serve the people through the
International Organisation, named “ROTARY”.

My greetings to Assistant governor Rtn. Vinitha Mohan for her
incomparable service as a Rotarian.

I wish all success. Ever in Rotary Service,
