74 Beau PIERCE II 74 TITUS RAMEIR ’ My future plans are to attend a four-year university and major in aviation. Currently, the schools I am most interested in are Hampton University and Texas Southern University. “A man who stands for nothing will fall for anything.” This quote resonates within my heart as I traverse the trials and tribulations of becoming a young black man in this day and age. The reason that this is so important is because so many young Black Men easily find themselves lost, due to not having any principles keeping them grounded which can ultimately lead them to stray from the correct path. Having principles to reflect upon and stand on, allows me to prevent the stagnation of my progress in the future and utilizing my full potential. Beau Titus R. Pierce II is the son of Mr. Nathan McGhee and Ms. Keva Pierce. He is a junior at Bolingbrook High School in Bolingbrook, Illinois. Titus has a 4.075 GPA and aspires to become a commercial pilot to increase Black representation in aviation, a field where it is scarce. He is a member of the Varsity Football and Track Teams, the National Honor Society, the National English Honor Society, and the school’s Black Affinity Group. Titus currently serve as a Junior Deacon at the Hyde Park Seventh-day Adventist Church. He can also be found serving in his Children's Ministry and Pathfinder department at church. One of his favorite activities he enjoy with his church family is when they attend “Feed My Starving Children.” Titus involved in the Guide Right Program sponsored by Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc. and a mentee in the 100 Black Men of Chicago. His motivation to become a pilot is driven by the desire to show that Black men can achieve anything.
