INTRODUCTION

Dato' Sri Siti Nurhaliza or her full name is Siti
Nurhaliza Binti Tarudin is a Malaysian number one
singer, songwriter and businesswoman. She also has a
cute nickname, which her fans like to call her Tokti.
She successfully made a lot of new art
ists as her icons
in the entertainment world because her name is also

in the Malaysia Book of Records for The First
Malaysian Artist to Hold a Solo Concert at the Royal

Albert Hall, London and the record for the Most
Awards Won by a Performer.

BACKGROUND
On January 11, 1979, Dato Sri Siti
Nurhaliza was born in Kampung
Awah, Temerloh, Pahang, Malaysia.
Since winning the HMI star singing
competition, which was aired by Radio
Television Malaysia (RTM) on April 1,
1995, she has been making moves in
the world of art. Her popularity
increased after her debut single "Jerat
Percintaan" took home the 11th Juara
Lagu Award..

EARLY YEARS

5-6 years She attended her pre-school kindergarten at the Sekolah Tabika Perkep, Balai
Polis Kampung Awah, Temerloh. She began her singing talent by performing the
traditional song "Sirih Pinang" at the end of the school year event.

7-12 years She attendance sekolah rendah kebangsaan clifford
At the age of 9, She woke up as early as 4:00 a.m. to help his mother make and sell
various homemade cakes
At the age of 12, she won her first singing competition, singing the patriotic song
"Bahtera Merdeka" at a Kuala Lipis Carnival in conjunction with the "Independence
Month Song."

13-17 years She attendance sekolah Menengah clifford, Kuala Lipis, Pahang.
At the age of 13, Siti followed her uncle to invitational performances such as
weddings and feasts to reveal herself as a live singer.
At the age of 15, he appeared in Minda Pelajar, an educational insert of Berita
Harian newspaper, after his band's performance was spotted by Berita Harian
reporter Tamrin Anuar.
She began her active career at the age of 16 and was granted a contract with
Suria Records. In the same year, she released her first self-titled album, Siti
Nurhaliza.

She’s an amazing woman who is a multitalented performer
as not only she sings, but also do a lot of side jobs.

With her big contribution in entertaiment industry she’s
got awarded with Darjah kebesaran Mahkota Pahang
Yang Amat Mulia, Peringkat Kedua Darjah Indera
Mahkota Pahang (DIMP) which gained her title as ‘Datuk’

With this achivement she able to widen her
fame and career in singing. As well as
becoming a business woman.
