The Board of County Commissioners of Medina County, Ohio, met in regular session on
this date with the following members present:

Mr. Smith offered the following resolution and moved the adoption of same, which was
duly seconded by Mrs. Geissman.

RESOLUTION NO. 16-0547

ACCEPTING AND AWARDING
THE 2016 REPLACEMENT OF BRIDGE No.13
ON OLD MILL ROAD IN SPENCER TOWNSHIP

FOR THE MEDINA COUNTY ENGINEER

WHEREAS, bids for the replacement of Bridge No.13 on Old Mill Road in Spencer Township,
for the Medina County Engineer, were received and publicly read in the office of the Medina
County Engineer on Tuesday, June 14, 2016, at 1:30 p.m., Ohio time, and referred to the Medina
County Engineer for review; and

WHEREAS, the County Engineer has recommended the bid for the replacement of Bridge No.13
be awarded to Vasel Bros. Inc., 1576 Marks Rd., Valley City, Ohio 44280.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Medina
County, Ohio, that the bid of Vasel Bros. Inc. is hereby accepted.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Medina
County, Ohio, that the bid for the replacement of Bridge No.13 for Medina County Engineer be
awarded to Vasel Bros. Inc. for the price of $144,245.00, as set forth in Exhibit A attached hereto.

AMENDING THE ANNUAL APPROPRIATION RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners adopted an Annual Appropriation Resolution, No.
15-1089 on December 29, 2015 to provide for the current expenses and other expenditures of Medina
County, and

WHEREAS, the amounts to be appropriated are within the amounts available on the Certificate of
Estimated Resources, and

RESOLUTION NO. 16-1549

AMENDING THE 2016 APPROPRIATIONS
RESOLUTION BY TRANSFERRING APPROPRIATIONS

WHEREAS, O.R.C. 5705.4 provides that any appropriation resolution may be amended or
supplemented, and

WHEREAS, it has been determined that expenditures within certain appropriations will be in excess
of the amount previously determined, and

WHEREAS, it has been determined that certain appropriation items are in excess of the amounts to
be encumbered, and

WHEREAS, the following transfers will not reduce any appropriation below an amount sufficient to
cover all unliquidated and outstanding contracts or obligations certified from or against the
appropriations.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by this Board of County Commissioners that the
following transfers of appropriations be made to be effective with the passage of this resolution.

WHEREAS, the grant period for this grant program is July 1, 2016 through June 30, 2017, and
