C. DATA ANALYSIS

 LIST OF CASE STUDIES

 Center for Individuals with Disabilities / Spain

It is based on "Hospitality between people who suffer mental impairment"
and "integrating the patients into society as far as possible".

 Sport and Fitness Center for Disabled People / USA

Commitment to remove all barriers, we seamlessly fused function, environmental
considerations and high aesthetics into a “total environment” extending from the site to
buildings.

 Day Care Centre For People with A Mental Disability / Belgium

It was an introduction of a low and long volume and its smart one sided
position against a blank wall, the project chose to preserve a maximum of open space.

 “INTRAS” Center for the Mentally Disabled / Spain

Located on a steep and elongated slope facing a public park, it is located in
a peripheral environment where generic housing blocks, single family self-built
houses, and agricultural buildings in process of abandonment, coexist.

 Deyang School for Deaf & Intellectually Disabled Children /
China

It is defined as ‘Home’ as the prototype of the design, expressing the special
concerns for the children on campus. It forms as a miniature village by dividing the
campus into small-scaled sloped-roof different-sized buildings around a central
courtyard based on the relationship of ‘Rooms’-‘atrium’-‘courtyard’.
