Hello! We hope you are excited to visit the beautiful country of Yemen
through our wonderful vacation planning services, visiting bodies of water,
historical landmarks and town functions like the many markets as well as how the
townspeople live.

We offer affordable prices to explore
and be immersed in a whole country's
culture no matter how long your stay
without the stress and worry of trying to
figure how to spend your time and what to
do, leave that up to us! We’ve been
planning Yemeni vacations for 12 years
now so we know any and every attraction
there is.
As well as providing what to do in Yemen, as you will see later on in the
packet we will inform you of proper educate in social situations, basic language
skills, what to eat, what not to eat, and any other local customs.

Your one week stay

● Where you will be staying-

You will be staying at the premiere
Yemen hotel, the Sheba hotel located
in Yemen’s capital, Sana’a.

● Famous landmarks to
visit-​ ​Ghumdan Palace, Cisterns of

Tawila, Saleh Mosque, Cairo Castle,
Yemen zoo, and last but not least the
beautiful Qalansiyah Beach​.

● Travel- ​You will be landing at the

Sana'a International Airport. Travel
from the airport to hotel will be 40
minutes so we suggest you rent a
vehicle ahead of time from an airport
venue car rental service to get to your
hotel and then use ​it ​it the rest of the week for visiting all of the landmarks.

How to fit in

● The language barrier- ​The language spoken in Yemen is Arabic so over
our 12 years here we’ve developed some keywords/phrases to help you
speak arabic. H​ ello=Marhabaan, Thank you=Shukraan, Please=raja', I am
lost='ana dayie, How much?=kam alththaman?, Yes=nem fielaan, No=la.

● Appropriate dress code- ​Women must have almost all skin covered, Men
and children may wear anything but typically white robes are worn.

● What to eat- ​Saltah is a very popular meat soup that is usually safe to eat
and it has no dangerous properties. Flat bread is eaten everywhere as well it
is extremely popular and safe to eat.

● Other local customs- ​Sitting on the floor for meals is very common, Any
sort of public affection is very frowned upon, The older you are the more
respect you deserve, 99% of religious people in Yemen are Muslims so you
should respect this as a vast majority is Muslim.
