CATHOLIC HIGH SCHOOL HAWKS

Head Coach Chris Ramirez’s assessment:

The 2016 Hawks will once again
be competing in a very difficult
district. The state champion team has
come out of this district for the past
three years. The Hawks will be led
by Quarterback Jack Groff who also
will be an anchor in the defensive
Ramirez backfield. Other returning starters

include John Tran at linebacker, Triston Schubert
at Defensive Back and Justin Moody at Defensive
Lineman.
Returning letterman Griffin Forti will be used in
various positions to utilize his athleticism and I have big
plans for the sophomore.
The Hawks will be creative in their offensive schemes
with an emphasis on misdirection and one-on-one
opportunities.
Defensively, the Hawks will focus on fundamentals
and being sound, physical and aggressive.
