3 Welcome Message The Caribbean Confederation of Credit Unions (CCCU) welcomes you to its Annual International Convention, the signature summer event of 2023 for Caribbean Credit Unions. Building on the success of our previous conventions, the theme for this year is “Making the Member ConnectionMission Possible.” The theme underpins the principles and strategies of CCCU and provides a clear indication that we are passionate about redefining lives through connecting new advancements and new innovations, recognizing a sense of purpose by channeling our energies to improve members’ economic conditions. Our focus on preparing the youth within our membership to embrace the opportunities to lead across generations is evident through the introduction of our inaugural Youth Scholarship and Youth Summit. We are quite elated that you have accepted our invitation to lend your voices and expertise to the over 500 face to face delegates in attendance, and anticipate an educational explosion of ideas, breakthrough innovations and a multipronged approach to obtaining workable solutions. These are challenging times for the Credit Union movement. Nevertheless, our fusion of passion, purpose and people, will ensure the longevity of the movement as we continue to navigate these uncertain financial waters. …………………………… ………………………………… Joseph Remy Denise Garfield President General Manager
