Unforgetable Memories

By; Amy martin

What is your birth story?

When my mom was in labor of me it was during a
traditional day. It was december 31st considered as
new years. She spent the whole afternoon and night
at Torrance Memorial Hospital missing out from my
grandma's delicious recipes. I don't know what time
I was given birth but I know it was january 1st 2003.
I was out in the wild after 9 months. I don't
remember my parents reaction at the moment but I
think it wasn't their best hours in life.

What is an important life event that shaped who you are?

My phone has been the most important life event for
me. It is so important because it's a better way for
others to reach me. Another thing is that i can reach
people too, but to be honest I use my phone more
for entertainment. For example when i'm bored it
helps me not to be bored, or even when when i'm
feeling down it helps me relax and gets me
distracted of all my side problems. I do consider my
phone my best friend.

What is an important life event that shaped who you are?

When I was 2 years old I was such a savage and I
still am. So it was just a regular afternoon and my
dad had left his work van on. Somehow I got into
the driver's seat and drove it right into a fence. My
dad tried to stop it from moving like if he were hulk.
It felt like my first ride at an amusement park. Yet
my dad had to pay to fix the fence and the van, but
even today my dad is cautious when my little
brother is around a vehicle when turned on.

What is an important life event that shaped who you are?

About 9 years ago I was such a disaster. Yeah I was
taller and older than my sister but she always found a
way to boss me around. It was a monday morning and
my sister told me to open the front door. As my sisters
peasant I opened it for her and went back to sleep.
Out of nowhere my mom started screaming my sisters
name. She asked me if i knew where ashley (my
sister) was at. The next thing you know there's a knock
at the door. It was my neighbor and my sister. He
explained that she was wondering on the streets. Till
this day we always laugh about this moment.
