It is clear that schoolchildren are hit hard by the current situation of lockdown or near lockdown in many
countries due to the Covid-19 Pandemic. People all over the world are saddened to see children missing the
dear opportunity to get proper education. Teachers, as well, are also saddened to see their learners stay out
of school, scared and uncertain of when to resume classes. As a teacher, I encourage learners worldwide
to have hope that we shall overcome our fear. I am taking all the necessary steps to educate learners,
which includes turning to online platforms to make sure that the learning will be delivered to the pupils
eventually.
Therefore, Home Based Learning (PdPR) Module was created and made into actuality to adhere and abide
the orientation in PPPM 2013 – 2025. Based on this module, we were able to apply the 6th, 8th. And 9th shift
in the PPPM as stated below:
Apart from that, this module was also created to assists teachers in conducting and carrying out their
online learning at home as an alternative to a new learning norm. Parents are also required to play their
part in monitoring their children throughout the new learning norm.
Basically, this module focuses on Unit 4: Lunchtime (Year 1 English Language CEFR) as a continuation from
their previous topics/knowledge. The theme, content and learning standards were taken from DSKP/DKP. As
for the worksheets provided in this module, they were taken from a few resources including revision books
and online resources.
Lastly, I hope that this module would give encouragement and benefits pupils as they learn in a new norm.

(m.s 46-57).
2. Murid digalakkan untuk membuat rujukan tambahan daripada
internet dan lain-lain sumber.
3. Modul latihan ini perlu disiapkan dalam tempoh masa yang
ditetapkan
oleh guru dan hendaklah diserahkan kepada guru subjek pada
masa yang ditetapkan.
4. Ibubapa dan penjaga digalakkan untuk membimbing murid
dalam
menyiapkan latihan modul.
