ABOUT THE
CENTER FOR CHILD PROTECTION

The Center for Child Protection is the only nonprofit in Travis
County involved in the investigation and prosecution of crimes
against children. For 30 years, the Center has been the first stop
for children in Travis County who are suspected victims of sexual
abuse, physical abuse and for children who have witnessed a
violent crime. In 2018, the Center conducted forensic interviews
for 1,557 children and provided 10,741 services to children and
adults in the community. Consider making a donation to the
children, taking a tour of the Center or joining us at one of our

many exciting events at centerforchildprotection.org.

PlayBingo is hosted by the Friends of Christopher Guild, an
organization established out of the community’s despair, frustration and
outrage over the death of two-year-old Christopher Wohlers. Formed
in 1998 by concerned women and mothers, the Friends of Christopher

Guild has been sustaining and expanding the safety net for
abused children in Travis County for 21 years.
