My Autobiography

My four important events

My First time going to Las Vegas

When I was 6 in 2014, My family and I had traveled to Las Vegas to spend Christmas there for a week.
When my mom told us we were going to Las Vegas my sister and I did not want to go. We wanted to
spend Christmas at home because we knew when had to wake up early and drive for a really long time.
We had to wake up at 4am and leave our house at 5:00 am and we were super tired. I do not remember
driving to Las Vegas because I was sleep the whole time my mom driving. When we got thee it was about
9 am and very cold. We stayed at the Circus Circus Hotel because my mom wanted us to have fun and
enjoy doing something different for Christmas. We wanted to sleep and get warm because we were cold.
When we got our room we stayed in the whole day and watched television in our big beds, The next
morning we woke upland started our adventure in the car. I asked my mom where are we going and she
said “she did not know”. So, we drove around everywhere to other cities just to see what Las Vegas looked
like. We drove to different stores to buy more gifts and whatever we needed. My mom drove everywhere
just to see what was all around us.The next day, we got up and my mom tried to get us to go on the rides
in our hotel but my sister and I wanted to see the pretty tall buildings. Everything looked so nice and we
walked forever but it was still nice. I was tired of walking so my mom walked us back and we drove to the
different hotels. There was one hotel that had a fake ceiling and it looked like we were outside but we were
inside the hotel. We got to buy little items in the gift stores.Christmas morning, my sister and I both woke
up with presents surrounding us. We were so happy opening our presents in the bed. I do not remember
what I got for Christmas but I remember we were really happy. I wish that I could’ve stayed longer but we
could not. I hope we get to have another Christmas like this soon.



My Thirteenth Birthday

My thirteenth birthday was on February 22, 2021. My mom cooked my favorite food,
roasted rosemary potatoes, white rice, and sausage. My mom bought cupcakes, and
ice cream. I got one hundred dollars, clothes, and gift cards. The next day, I went to
one of my favorite restaurants called the Golden Pheasant. I love ordering orange
chicken and white rice. When we eat at the Golden Pheasant my mother lets me
order my own orange chicken and my own rice. She calls me little miss piggy
because I do not like to share my orange chicken. I love my birthdays my mother
always makes sure they are the best and we celebrate over a few days.



Family Time at Merkato

My Family spends a lot of time at the Merkato Ethiopian restaurant. My mother
said we have been going to the same restaurant for over twenty-six years. We
order the same food every single time. We spend most of our holidays or
special moments at this restaurant. This restaurant means a lot to my family
because we share a lot of happy times there.

All of the food comes on a huge plate and the food is laid on bread called injera.
We have ethiopian vegetables and fish every time we go to Merkato. We tear
the bread and we eat with our hands. I love eating at Merkato it was good food
and I spend lots of time laughing with my family.



My nephew Eli Born

On August 20, 2019 Eli Sanchez was born. I was very happy to have a nephew. He
is now 2 years old. For his second birthday he had a party at chucky cheese, he got
to go on the rides eat, and play. We took him to the park to see the duck and turtles,
he loved it. He is funny, loving, and cute. He loves hanging out with me and going to
see new things around the world. I can’t wait until he’s older so we can do more
things together.
