My adoption story

When I was about 18 months old I was found in an alley then and old man came along and found me
then took me to the police station then from there the police took me to the adoption center. Then my
mom was looking for children to adopt and then she came across me and of course she looked at me
and another baby then chose me to adopt. It took her months to get all her ducks in a row and during
that everyone told her that she was crazy and that she couldn’t do it but she still did. Also she brought

her sister too, to help her not feel like she's the only one who can speak English, but she had a tour
guide. When she got to the hotel room she got a call telling her that the adoption was postponed until
the next day. The next day she went to the adoption center and the people who were with me were
late. And once we did get there I was so freaked out and my mom was trying not to laugh then she gave
me a rice cookie then I was all better. Then it got even better my mom got married (they divorced). But I

turned out to be the best me I could possibly be.

Ya it’s that kind of day

Once I had a sub that was my babysitter, so my 4th grade teacher Mrs. Fransen had a sub named Ms.
Eubank (my babysitter). The moment she walked in we saw each other we smiled. Then when Mrs.
Fransen introduced the sub I tried not to laugh. So when it got to lunch I already made fun of the
teacher and everyone's like why is she not getting mad at you and then I would say she’s my babysitter!
Everyone thought I was lying and then to prove it I had to say my babysitters name out loud and stick
my tongue out at her when it came time to recess I did just that and everyone was surprised she stuck
her tongue back at me. At the end of the day both of us went to sonic and the last time that happened I

was in 5th grade and I kicked her while she was reading, today she is a teacher.

How computers affect teens

The first computer came out during the 1970’s it became a hit when it came to the market. The first
computer that was an Apple was an Apple II model released in 1977. And the first Apple phone was
released on June 29, 2007. And the first game on the computer was pong and over 2 million kids/ teens
played that 2 dimensional table tennis game. Now around 87-88% of teens have a laptop or a tablet
computer. And the percentage on the teens who do have computers usually use them to connect with

friends, play games, and or to help with school/ work. Also those teens usually get less physical
workouts, looking at a screen arching their back over is also a bad way to get used to things concerning
your posture. And if your parents ever told you that your brain will turn into mush if you stare a screen
for too long, well now that is half true and half false. If the teen is introduced to a violent game or show

it could possibly affect your brain to see things differently your brain doesn't exactly turn into mush.

Tony Faustino/ my dad is a businessman who made/ started his own business called Faustino Marketing
strategies. The reason he quit his previous job is because he wanted more control over his personal and

professional job. He started the business in 2014 and the first thing he did to get the business up and
running was to recruit his clients. He was not fired, he choose to quit his previous job to start the

business. When he was a child, he never thought of becoming the way his is now, when he was a kid/
teenager he dreamed of being a pro athele. There are also pros and cons to making a company. He has
the freedom of choice and flexibility, but the cons is that it’s the hardest thing he's ever done in his life.
When he was a kid, he may have dreamed of being a pro athlete but he thought he was really going to
turn into a doctor. His role models in the business world is his grandfather who is an anesthesiologist,
and his grandfather was a farmer. His previous job was a marketing salesman there were also pros and

cons. Pros: he worked with very smart people; the cons were frequent travel. Before he became the
man his is today, and a salesman before all of that, he also worked as a pharmaceutical salesman,
marketing director, and management consultant. So for most of his jobs he has worked with marketing.

Summer options

Your interests have probably evolved since you were a youngster, but that doesn’t mean that you can
do what you liked as a child. So let out your inner child out, take the kids out to the field, take the
baseball gloves and play catch with friends/ family. Go to the nearest water park. Most kids during the
summer go to the community water park this is also the most popular thing to do over the summer/
break. If it’s ever your turn to mow the lawn just mow your name / write something funny. Or hit the
nearest thrift store and bring a friend then buy something for them. If you have a pet then play with that
but if you don’t go to the pet store and look at cats, dogs, fish, birds, etc. then be mad at yourself for not
being able to get one of want you want. And if you’re still bored bring over some friends and have a
girls/ boys night and gaze at the stars on a warm summer night. Or do things that you would do when

you were kid play outside games, Monopoly, Clue, Battleship, Connect 4, etc.

Also another popular thing to do was to see the first summer movie that comes out that looks
interesting. And, if you are old enough to drive, you could drive around the city and look at your cities
night life or could tour for a friend. Also another popular thing to do over the summer is visiting family
or take and every year trip so you know you always have something to do over the summer. And you
could start a neighborhood gathering and could start a lot of events chaining from that one event for

example lemonade stands, BBQ gatherings, a walk, and etc.

Review of the 2 ⅓ of a trilogy Star Wars

Good things about Star Wars is that Star Wars always has returning characters. There are many
characters that have returned that are actually the same actors; for example, Princess Leia- Carrie Fisher
(Recently died), Han Solo- Harrison Ford (recently died in the movie), Luke Skywalker- Mark Hamill etc.
After a large gap of 32 years of acting in Star Wars; another thing about Star Wars are the backstories for

example in the first movie was the 4th episode “A New Hope” the people who first saw that was
probably confused about what was going on and what was happening. But it’s a good thing that there
were lightsaber battles, because many times the first thing that someone thought was probably. Whoa!
And most said it got even betting when the bad and good guys started to have more and more intense
battles where it’s getting up to battling for worlds. And every new generation started the 2 basic origins
the Sith and the Jedi. Also the costume design is very complex because some characters have horns,
glowing eyes, but some of it is green screen, also in rare occasions it’s not even human. Speaking of

green screen many, people think there is too much green screen and because of that many setting
designers had to come up with was to make rock terrane, houses, long hallways, inside ships, etc.

Through the 2 ⅓ episodes there has been a lot of work put into all of the movies.

Teen Obesity

Teen obesity is a major problem because it causes others to bully, judge, and make fun of others and
for the teen it causes depression, Suicidal thoughts, and getting bullied. Things that could cause obesity

by genetics, lack of physical activities, unhealthy eating patterns, hormonal problems ( not likely ),
environmental/ surroundings, depression, etc. To a child a healthy diet plays a very important role in

determining the child's weight.

And the lack of physical activities video games become more and more popular and kids spend more
time on them actually the average child spends around 4 hours a day looking at a screen. Since children
watch so much TV they see about 10,000 food commercials every month. And at school the staff try to
limit the unhealthy foods at school lunch and encourage more exercise. And in rare cases there could be
Bulimia & Anorexia are two eating disorders this occurs when teens or young adults are not happy with
their body. And because this such a major case this affects about 3 million people that’s only in the U.S.

And since diet is so important kids/ teens eat too much sugar and premade food contain high fat
content. Also the larger the meal the more sugar and fat and people also might have the habit of
overeating and all the unhealthy things that they eat is probably just junk food the fact is that junk

doesn't help fill you up it just has the fat sit at your waistline (MedlinePlus).

Strange but true

The world is a pretty strange place; things often don’t happen according to plan, and weird coincidences
are generally flukes. With this in mind, it’s not surprising that there would be unexpected facts about
everything from pencils, to history, to science, and everything in between.

The world’s oldest piece of chewing gum is over 9,000 years old, A coyote can hear a mouse moving
underneath a foot of snow, bolts of lightning can shoot out of an erupting volcano, New York drifts
about one inch farther away from London each year, A U.S. dollar bill can be folded approximately 4,000
times in the same place before it will tear, A sneeze travels about 100 miles per hour, Earth has traveled
more than 5,000 miles in the past 5 minutes, It would take a sloth one month to travel one mile, 10% of
the World’s population is left handed, a broken clock is right two times every day, according to Amazon,
the most highlighted books on Kindle are the Bible, the Steve Jobs biography, and The Hunger Games,
Bob Marley’s last words to his son before he died were “Money can’t buy life.”, a mole can dig a tunnel
that is 300 feet long in only one night, A hippo’s wide open mouth is big enough to fit a 4-foot-tall child
in, Chewing gum while you cut an onion will help keep you from crying, If you were to stretch a Slinky

out until it’s flat, it would measure 87 feet long. I know that was a lot of weird things to know.

Advertising a pop socket

A pop socket is a very strong socket on the back your phone with many different designs, colors, and
wording on them. But they don’t just serve as a permanent sticker on the back of your phone it also
serves as a fidget toy. And if you ever get tired of the same design you could always pop out the old

design and put a new one in.

As you see above you can switch out the socket part. And this is the thing that people lecture about a
lot. “So is it just something you play with how it is supposed to help you”. In many way people don't
really get how comfortable it is to hold and quickly you get used to holding it in that certain way. If you
want to see how fun it is you should buy one for yourself. Most pop sockets are around 5- 10 $. Also
pop sockets don’t stay on forever you can remove them, but if you want a quicker way to take it off you
could put a sticker down before hand; most pop sockets have creative designs on them; the design does

eventually wear off.

Fish and chips

4 large russet potatoes
2 cups of all-purpose flour

1 Tbsp. baking powder
1 tsp. Salt (can add more seasoning)
½ tsp. Ground black pepper (can add more seasoning)

1 large egg (lightly beaten)
1 (12-ounce) can soda water
½ cup rice flour (for dredging)

2 (8-ounce) cod or fillets
Malt vinegar for serving

Tartar sauce

Directions
Heat about 3-inches of the oil in a deep fryer to 325 degrees. If you don’t have a deep fryer use a deep

pot, heat 3-inches of oil in a deep pot.
Peel the potatoes and cut them into chips. Put the potatoes in the oil. Fry the chips for 2 to 3 minutes.

Remove the chips with a spider strainer (slotted spoon), to a paper towel-lined platter to drain.
Set the oil temperature to about 375 degrees F.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt, pepper, and egg. Pour in the soda water
and whisk to a smooth batter. Spread the rice flour on a plate. Dredge the fish pieces in the rice flour

and then dip them into the batter, letting the excess drip off.
Put the chips in the bottom of the fryer basket and carefully submerge in the hot oil. Gently wave the
battered fish into the bubbling oil before putting them in on top of the chips. Fry the fish and chips for
about 4 to 5 minutes until crispy and brown. Remove the basket and drain the fish and chips on paper
towels; season lightly with salt. Serve wrapped in a newspaper cone with malt vinegar and/or tartar

sauce.

Reason Why

Fish and chips is a hot dish of English origin consisting of fried and battered fish and hot chips. It is a
common take-away food and an early example of culinary fusion. First appearing in the 1860s, in 1910
there were more than 25,000 fish and chip shops across the UK, and by the 1930s it increased to over
35,000. But the real story is that when my cousins and I were going on a cruise ship to Alaska our flight
stopped at Seattle, Washington and so we just ate fish and chips. And the next morning we ate at the

same place and I was so disgusted I didn't eat. So I ate plane food and I can get air sick but I almost
ended up throwing up.

Healing

Sometimes you can’t let go
Of what’s making you sad

Because it’s
The thing
That also made you

Happy
But if you’re
Strong enough to tell

The story
You know
That the pain is healed
