Grounds
REMINDERS

• Divots - Please make sure that you are replacing
the turf first and supplementing with the sand
mixture. There has been some concern regarding
filling divots on tee boxes, and while we prefer to
have our staff fill these, the mix in the bottles is the
same mix we use. Please smooth out all divots after
replacing and sanding.

• Cart path ends - when you are driving carts
around, please watch for the stakes and wear
patterns and avoid these areas when possible.

• 17 Lake - This Lake is critical to our irrigation needs
as we pump from 17 up to 14 lake to replenish
water that we use on the course. With the heat and
the pumping up to 14, 17 lake levels will fluctuate
day to day. It is our goal to keep it full without
overflowing the lake, but we want members to
understand the reasons behind the water level
changes.

• 6/7 Lake - We continue to treat and remove algae
from this lake, it has been one of the worst years for
algae in large part to the heat and how shallow this
lake is.

• The Waterfall - has been turned off for the
season as we are going to drain all ponds and
prepare for some much needed repair work this fall.

• The Elk - are back and have been damaging greens,
tees, and fairway areas already. We will continue to
repair these areas and get them in play as quickly as
possible.
