Executive of
Community Outreach

The executive of Community Outreach is responsible for organizing
events throughout the year that allows business students the oppor-
tunity to become involved within the community. This can be arranged
through a variety of events that differ in scale; from having a bottle drive,
to organizing a meal for those that are impoverished. The executive of
this portfolio should have three key strengths: organization, teamwork,
and a strong passion for creating change. The executive should be able
to then transform that passion into a variety of events that engage or
involve business students.

This year, Community Outreach had three directors. Of which all are
equally passionate. The directors and executive work together to brain-
storm, research, plan, and implement a variety of events.

This role allows for one to gain valuable experience. One not only gets to
make an impact in the local Victoria community, but also create friend-
ships within the CSS, and allow for the first-hand experience with plan-
ning and organizing events.
