The Gustavson Graduation Gala is the longstanding capstone event of the Commerce Stu-
dents’ Society that offers our graduating students a chance to celebrate their accomplish-
ments together, before pursuing on their next endeavors. The Grad Gala is one of the few
standing events dedicated solely to 4th-year students, which makes it a great opportunity

Gustavson Crash Week

25th Annual Greater Victoria
Business Banquet

The Greater Victoria Business Banquet is one of the Commerce Students’ Society most prestigious
and longest running events. Over 250 guests, including students, faculty, staff, and business rep-
resentatives come together to enjoy an evening of fine dining in a valuable formal business envi-
ronment while building a sense of community among all that are present.

For the past 25 years, the annual Business Banquet has offered a terrific opportunity for busi-
nesses to seek new talent. This year, the distinctive event will continue its tradition of connecting
business students with potential employers in addition to offering invaluable corporate exposure

This past year, the banquet also incorporated a silent auction. All proceeds were donated to the
Robb Nash Project, which works to empower struggling youth with the power of music and encour-

Charity Dinner

The Charity Dinner is a new event aimed at rewarding students who have volunteered in the
community throughout the year. Our charity team will be running monthly volunteer days and the
students who have volunteered the most hours will be invited to a
celebration dinner with the charities we support (depending on the seating at the venue). For each
hour of volunteering the students will receive one ticket towards a draw for raffle prizes,donated by
