Diabetes Resources Centre (DRC) is a dedicated referral and education center for people living with diabetes, their families, and healthcare providers within Penampang and surrounding areas. DRC is well recognised locally for its expertise in diabetes management, prevention, and treatment, delivered through a patient-centred and evidence-based approach.

All services are led by Certified Diabetes Educators, comprising senior healthcare staff with Advanced Diplomas in Diabetes Care and extensive clinical experience. This ensures that patients receive consistent, accurate, and practical guidance tailored to individual needs and local community context.

Our Services :

Services include structured diabetes counselling to support long-term disease control, retinal screening through funduscopy for early detection of diabetic eye complications, and comprehensive foot examinations to prevent ulcers and lower-limb complications. Education on lifestyle modification, medication adherence, blood glucose monitoring, and complication prevention is integrated into every consultation.
