Bishop Boone is the CEO/Host of The Salt Shakers for Jesus Show. He is a Preacher and Life Coach and lives in a Nursing Home in Houston, Texas. Bishop Darrell A. Boone is a graduate of Perkins School of Theology Seminary (Dallas, TX) with a Master of Divinity degree. He is an ordained minister and a consecrated Bishop. He has served as an assistant chaplain at McMurry University in Abilene, Texas. In addition, he has worked as a clinical counselor in Texas and South Carolina.

After a 40-year ministry serving as bishop, pastor, chaplain, and clinical counselor, I felt a calling to start a Christian Broadcasting Show for senior citizens and people with disabilities, using the internet as the platform to do this. The truth of the scriptures began burning on the inside, and I desired to share it with others. A preacher and teacher at heart, my passion is to teach the word of God as it comes alive in my own heart, trusting that it will also come alive to my hearers and readers.
When I started this show, I was working my way through the book of Romans, so it was natural that this was what I wrote about. Romans kept changing me, and now several years later, it continues to bless and encourage the people who come to this site looking for answers.
